82 graduates of the FUTMinna will bag 1st Class Honours during the 2014 FUTMinna Convocation which will take place on 21st June, 2014. This occasion comprises of the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd convocation ceremonies.
The Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, will on Saturday, June 21 graduate a total of 7,482 students as part of series of activities marking the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd convocation ceremonies of the institution.
Briefing newsmen at the permanent campus of the institution, at Gidan Kwano, along Minna-Bida highway on Tuesday, the vice-chancellor of the University, Professor Musbau Adewumi Akanji, said 6,394 students bagged the first degree, 576 students, Master’s degree, 45 Doctor of Philosophy degrees and 467 Post Graduate Diplomas would be honoured.
According to him, the breakdown of the first degrees include; a total of 82 first class, 1,533 second class upper division, 3,000 second class lower division, 1,563 third class and 216 Pass.
