Yaba College of Technology
(YABATECH) chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP)
has denied rumours making round that the institution has pulled out of
the on-going industrial action embarked upon by the union.
The Chairman ASUP YABTECH, Adeyemi
Aromolaran, said the institution remains shut as the chapter is
committed in joining hands with other polytechnics lecturers in the
country to demand better education system for students.
Students in the institution lamented
that the strike had paralysed the educational pursuits of many of them
and called on the lecturers to take them into consideration.
